Welcome to my blog. My name is Paul miners and I am a specialist wildlife Artist based in Australia.
I do a lot of research on my subject and surroundings, then incorporate my own ideas and passion into the subject matter. My final creation of artwork is my personal way of sharing my love for wildlife and making a lasting contribution to the viewer. i try to capture the spirit of the animals I paint.
Although I was an award winning traditional artist, I do not create my art using traditional media. Although becoming an established and exhibiting pastel artist in the late 80’s, I now combine my artistic skills with modern digital technology.
By using digital brushes on a Wacom computer tablet, I can offer a number of benefits that traditional paintings can not offer. Because my paintings are created using a digital process, the end result is not limited to one size and style of painting. All of my Wildlife paintings can be printed out onto a wide range of material and at any size. All of my Wild life art can be sized to suit your wall/surroundings.
“My art is a way for me to share my love of the wild and help preserve the beauty by capturing the moment on canvas”…..Paul Miners
Hey Paul,
I absolutely love your work! I’m a new painter and trying to teach myself and find my own style but your work has been a real inspiration. Was just wondering if it would be alright to put a link for your blog on mine?
Thanks,
Liz
Hi Paul, are your paintings available to buy? I love your work but live in the UK.
Gary
Hello paul,
I absolutely love your work, I also have the same passion for wildlife since i was a young boy. I have just started to do some digital painting and I would very much appreciate if you could share your interests and i share mine with you. And also if you could teach me some techniques it would make me very happy.
I think art is a wonderful way of expressing your feelings and its a source of relaxation in my opinion.

Thank you,
Ricardo Abrantes,
Thanks Ricardo. Have sent you an email 🙂
Dear Paul,
Just a note to say I love your work & hope to encourage you about regaining full use of the injured arm/wrist. As a professional massage therapist here in the USA I want to tell you not to give up hope! There are many bodywork techniques that can often release scar tissue & free up the adhesion’s involved with injuries. Please look into such types of modalities as Active Isolated Stretching & KMI – both of which are forms of Structural Integration work. Those along with Myofascial Release Therapy may be the answer you need to recover 99.9% of use!
All the best to you & good luck getting back to your digital artwork – which is simply some of the most striking & powerful work I’ve ever seen – especially in relation to the wildlife you portray.
Take care & keep doing what you love!
